Burn image file on multiple DVDs

I'm trying to burn my iso file to a disc, but the image file is 1,5 GB and I only have DVDs that is 700 mb. Isn't it possible to burn the file like one half on one disc and one half on another disc?

This looks easy to use: http://www.altap.cz/salam_en/features/split.html or DVD Decrypter under Tools lets you specify file size assuming this is video. Those are CD, a DVD would easily hold 1.5 G. Maybe something like HJ Split but not sure that isn't for reassembly later.

Don't know, HJ Split or DVD Decrypter won't and no idea on Salamander.

If you are simply wanting to store it for archive or portability purposes, then you can create a RAR file using winRAR and specify the sizes you need. However, this will not work for playing or loading off of. The image will have to be recombined on the PC for that to work.
