I tried the link and was sent to blankmedia.ca. Looks like a legit link to me.

Regardless of the true nature of the link, I like your enthusiasm BetaZeta...I fiery warrior in the battlefield against internet advertising. Afterdawn uses ads to support itself, and, as I am sure you have noticed, the links users place in posts are first redirected to an advert, but one can merely close that and retry the link and find what one is hoping for.

This is an amazingly imformative site with many places to find information and help. Please support it.

I could not find ritek at any local stores or chains in My Province. I now can get ritek media and no longer will feed my DVD Supermulti with mug coasters.

Here's my drill for viewing links here at AD:

Click on the link, Fastclick page appears.
Close the page.
AD page appears, link is now taken over by fastclick.
Refresh the AD page, Link now appears normal.
Click on the link again.
Original link now works normally.

I've been doing this for months. IMHO a pain in the ass but this is just how this place works. Fastclick is not something I care for as I consider it spyware. Spybot S&D goes after it.

The other problem I have is that certain, random threads are unreadable. By me. When I click on one of these threads to view it, I get booted off the internet, so I am left staring at my computer desktop. Every time I try to view this particular thread, this happens, So I never get to read it.

And its still a problem getting a Nero link to work right. I think most everyone is aware of that situation though. The fix for that is to put the Nero link in, and once you have submitted your reply, hit edit, then Save Changes. That fixes the link so it will work normally.

Other than not being able to view certain threads, I can manage to get around here pretty well, Afterdawn, even with what has been mentioned here, still rocks.

Cheers,
Frank

For some reason, if you edit your post the "fastclick" part goes away... not that the popups bother me cuz i firewalled them a long time ago :)

Next time, just drop a PM to a Mod (include a link too) and if appropriate, something will be done.

Praetor,
The next time I find a thread that boots me, I'll let you know. I mentioned this issue in Feedback and Suggestions and it was suggested that I change my ISP, I have Explorer right now.

I'd sure like to know why this happens....

Hi Frank, You got problems again. I read someone suggesting it may be IE causing the problem. I have been using Netscape since day one on the internet. I don't get any of the problems you have. I did notice if I place a link in my reply and then edit the post, the link highlite is removed. Hope you get it straightened out.

Hi Jerry,
I've always got problems of some sort. Not enough yet to find out if computers float though. I don't get mad at it anymore, just even.

Anyhow, solutions have been offered so I just need to do it. I don't really mind little workarounds, but I'm afraid that changing ISPs will cause my delicate, fragile Nero installation to crash. Everything else I do does.
BTW, I got my DL Sony ready to burn some $6.00 coasters. Thats gonna have a pretty high pucker factor. Still waiting for the stuff to be released.

Take care,
Frank

I've been following your posts about your new burner. $6.00 coasters. My wife always wanted expensive furniture. I'll have to get her some of those. Good luck with the new toy.
