I am trying to organize all my media by ripping all my DVD's onto my Hard-Drive, but what is the most recommended method? So far I have a few of my DVD's ripped to my hard-drive using DVD Decrypter which works effeciently and is considered the ultimate One-Click method.

What are the advantages of backing up DVD's by ripping them to a .iso image file rather than ripping them to VIDEO_TS/AUDIO_TS DVD files?

Some media players might prefer one over the other?

What are you talking about I can't watch .iso files with any media player. I'm just asking why do people rip DVD's to .iso files?
