DVD ripping audio sync issue

i have a lot of movie and my wife and i love to watch movies a lot and i got tired of flipping through my dvd binders so when i discovered i could rip my dvds and create a digital library on my computer i began ripping all my movies to mp4.
I didn't notice it before but my wife really noticed it the audio is just slightly off. On a lot of the movies. I use slysofts anydvd 6.7.2.0 and clonedvd mobile 1.2.0.0. I set all the settings to the highest quality but it?s still slightly off. Does anyone have any advice i was told it?s because the way the ripper works it rips the video separate from the audio and doesn't match them up right but how do i fix it? Should i use another format?

There's a thread here about DVD rips and sync issues when encoding to a different format.
Using FixVts may be one path to try (I'm not sure if AnyDvd performs the same function).
