Not that I'm aware of and if I found some I wouldn't use them. The difference in color is due to the different dyes required for CDs and DVDs.

Silver bottoms - Commercial - are pressed, not burned.

LOL......buy some silver topped dvd-r, and turn them upside down - voila, silver bottomed dvd-r..........

I would not recommend it as they do not seem to work very well upside down...........

Good question though, as RWG stated commercial ones are pressed rather than burned...............

I haven't seen any, some may exist but I believe they have not got material available to produce a silver bottomed dvd-r that has a burnable surface.......

Most rw's seem to have a blueish silver colour but this is the closest I have seen to silver............

It maybe down to the fact if they are silver, then you cannot distinguish between the burned and unburned areas..........
Or even the reflectibilty of the surface makes it difficult to produce a solid burnable substrate in silver.............

...............PIO is no go, DMA all the way...............
