Can you 'clean' opening credits off a ripped Movie?

Can you clean off onscreen credits overlayed on top of a scene?
I am working on a personal project and found a perfect clip from the opening scene of a movie but because it is the opening scene the opening credits constantly flash in and out over the scene.

Can't just edit out the frames with credits on them, chops out too much footage.
Any help is appreciated!!!

i think you would need access to the raw footage streams from initial production. maybe if you use some processing tricks you could blur them or something, but thats all i can think. i am no expert on video production.

btw, i think this is more a digital video topic.

if you could find a way to split the each frame into scene by scene and photoshop every credit out it possible could be done.not sure how'd you go about doing it.
