Greetings,

I originally posted about a pixelated stutter issue with some of my burned movies. Changed media to Verbatim, upgraded burner to a new LiteOn and switched to DVDFab to rip. Decided to save instead of deleting the Video_TS folders but that quickly filled up my 200GB partition so had to grab a 1TB portable hard drive. Since I was making so many changes I decided to upgrade my dvd player. Got a killer deal on a Denon high end player off of Craigslist.
Here's the latest problem. The player won't play my burned DL's. Does fine on singles and the original masters. Switching media type and manufacture didn't help. The DL's will play on my budget players as well as the laptop. Denon forums have been unresponsive. The player recognizes the disc but keeps cycling through the chapters. The DL's have been re-authored to play just the movie.
Will burning from ISO instead of Video_TS make any difference. Is there a way to re-author to make it work.I know the Denon doesn't support dual disc, Something about not playing the audio side. I'm assuming this is a entirely different animal than a dual layer.
Thanks for any suggestions.

'Dual disk' a DVD on one side and a music CD on the other?
I doubt that it's relevant here.

Burning from an ISO instead of a folder makes no difference.
Are you using Verbatim DVD+R DL and burning with ImgBurn.
That seems to be the accepted method of getting a playable disk and the fact that it plays on the low end may be why the Denon was a good deal.

Again high end stuff comes with weird built in drm... it might be as simple as not liking region free disks tho.. so have a look at your d/l burns and see if they have retained the region... then again it might not like the manufacturing process for the inverse stack disks.. but you will have to check the dvd threads to see which brands use that and which use the older method to test a theory.
