I am trapped by the v.2 of dvd43 non free

I did the unthinkable and downloaded dvd43 v.2.0.071
now it will not allow me to uninstall and instead directs me to purchase a 40.00 program that as they say is based on the dvd43 for free and they added to it and now feel it is correct to not allow me to uninstall their program and go back to the free version.anybody seen this before ? Any ideas ?Please help.I am running xp pro on a athlon2300 xp

I never used DVD43 because it doesn't remove Macrovision. I am surprised you can't uninstall it or it doesn't give you the option. Check your Program File menu, left or right click on the icon to try and locate an uninstaller.

If you installed it recently you could go back to a Restore Point.

Get TweakUI - it'll let you remove prgs that Win/XP won't.

fwiw - AnyDVD is alot better.

unfortunately i did not have restore on.so that is not an option.It dd have an uninstall button but it gave me the error message that 30 days had passed and ii should pay.It did seem to uninstall but whenreinstalling the free version it would give the same message.I went to the ms config and disabled DVD43 from starting and rebooted.even went into the regisry and removed anything that had DVD43 in it did not help,

also I am using 1click dvd.avery simple program that worked remarkably well for awhile untill now.
