Can you explain to me the purpose of TDF files? I have platinum and have never used TDF. And I know you can find some TDF's here.

http://www.dvdxcopy.afterdawn.com look in platinum.

Thanks Ireland but you never really answered my question which was how can I download tdf files I see them but there is only a file that tell you to click and paste but the window shows an error. Is it a phony tdf file or can people actually download from this site. If not, is there a way to make my own TDF files if so, how?

Jaemom, Ireland's post is very simple. You CAN NOT download TDF files from that site anymore because the 321 server where you get the download from has been shut down. They were good downloads at one time, just not accessible anymore. You are out of luck.

Yeah, and it's a damn shame, too. I wonder what the people that have the RF version of Xpress or Platinum or Xtreme do for TDF files if they need them. I believe I'd email or call 321studios.com.

I don't use my X Copy Express anymore, but I'm sure there are many members out there still using the software. Too bad our higher ups can't link to just the TDF file section through this forum site. Or maybe if someone knows how to write them and could pass on the information in some sort of guide. Just a passing thought.

I've never used the TDF's. Never really understood what they were for... I thought they are to fix minor problems like fixing title sets.

Anyhow this is from the dvdxcopy forum ... I believe written by someone who used to work for 321studios.

Perhaps the most flagerent false advertising was TDF's. We hyped them so much, yet they don't really do anything! Hell, you didn't even get the TDF option in platinum until several months after it's release. We had our original TDF library, then abandoned it until Quiltface began creating them again. He got to do it for about a week, then they pulled the plug on that idea as well, and now they are a thing of the past.
