Hi, My name is Armando and my friend mike and I are looking to start a band in the LA area. We are looking for a male lead singer, guitarist and a bass player(lead singer/guitar is a plus!) in the 17-21 age group. We live in Pico Rivera which is near Whittier, Downey; its about 20 min. from downtown LA.

We want to go for a Early November, Dashboard Confessional kind of sound. We really want to write music where we can get soft in the verse but have great powerful chourses.

I play the drum and have been playing for about 5 years, I have good gear (pearl drums) and transportation. My friend mike plays guitar, he also has great gear (fender guitar, mesa amp) and good transportation.

We also have a place to practice but will rent a practice studio if you don't live near us. We have both bought gear together, we have a Peavey PA system, Shure Mics and we also have recording gear (Laptop comp., Cakewalk recording software).
