Ripping music from PS2, particularly Ratchet & Clank

Hello, Ive been following every guide Ive seen here, but I cannot seem to properly rip the sound files from the first Ratchet & Clank game. They dont seem to pop up as ADX, and when I use Cube Media Player, it finds the files Im looking for in ADPCM but they sound fast and choppy - absolutely horrid. It extracts video and video sound just fine, but Im really trying to get game sounds and music. Is there anybody who can help me with just this game in particular?
