Hello all Canadian participants to this forum......be advised that Walmart is selling the Samsung model DVD P240 for $109.00!!!!!. This machine will play DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD-RW, DVD+RW,DVD-Video,CD,CD-R,CD-RW,SVCD,MP3,JPG viewer and has software for eliminating letter box formats and formats to full screen and back again at the touch of a button. It also has software to create on-screen menus for chapter selections and other options that you eliminate when you re-author for size.It will play even the cheapest bulk DVD-R with no effort and I have DVD burns that skipped and stopped on 2 other machines but plays straight through on this machine.I dug all my backups out of the drawer where they were heading for the trash and they played perfectly.It has progressive scanning and makes everything look theater great and sound Dolby perfect. There are plenty in stock but make sure you get the P240 as Walmart carries amother model that doesn't have the same features. Hope this helps those out there that are still struggling to get burns to play on other machines.

P.S.
You can even label and it doesn't affect the playback.Also.......Factory Direct is selling a 4x DVD+R Media 100-Piece Spindle for $89.99 !!!!
