I was wondering what was the best version of nero to burn dvd's from off my hard drive. I use 5.5.10.52 and was wondering if there was a version that burned better with less glitching while playing in my dvd player or do I just need better media? thanks dvd8man

Nero 6 Ultra is a complete suite of accessories and is the latest you can get on Trial Basis at their site.

Do read the basic requirements needed for this software to operate on your PC == If you meet those specs , you will have a very good assortments of functions for most of your recording needs.

I used 5.5.10.54 until a couple months ago and never had any problems with it myself. It could very well be a media problem or an out of date firmware. What media have you been using? What make/model burner and firmware version?

That being said, I'll second what Jeanc1 stated. The latest Nero is an outstanding and very complete set of tools :)

The media is a prime suspect in your DVD player playback problem , however, note that many DVD player have a lesser quality then you would expect -- Not all are created EQUAL -- some have very little tolerance and do not accept copies very well .
