I have had my computer hooked up to my 42 inch 1080p tv through HDMI. For months it's worked fine. However suddenly today something very frustrating is happening.

Surfing the net works fine until the moment I try to watch a video through youtube, or any other video streaming type pages.

Suddenly my tv filckers black, says "Scene select has changed" and suddenly the screen is too large for the tv (So I cant even access the tabs except blindly since they are beyond the screen borders)and the entire screen looks overly bright and oversaturated. This continues until I close the offending page, then it all reverts back.

This is beyond frustrating, and I don't even know how to search for help with this issue through google, as every combination of queries I have tried has led to discussions about topics unrelated.

I really hope someone can help me figure out what is going on here....
