I installed VMWare a little while ago, and while setting up a virtual machine, it had me turn off auto-play for my dvd drive (my burner is currently my only drive [besides hdd]). ...Or at least, I'm pretty sure that's what it had me do. I've tried desperately to reactivate it, doing basic things like making sure the properties for the drive have autoplay enabled, uninstalling vmware, and other measures like that, but to no avail. I even tried unplugging the drive, restarting my computer, and then restarting it again with the drive plugged in, hoping it would restore its original properties. I'm thinking maybe I messed up a path in Windows... well actually, I have no idea. Does anyone know how to solve this problem? Any help would be appreciated.

Perception is reality.
