Pioneer 104/A04 Dual layer?

I have a Pioneer 104/A04 DVD-R burner and was wondering if they released firmware that allows it to burn dual layer? Is it even possible with A04? Thanks.

Someone somewhere may come up with one but even if they did it would depend on how many DL discs you're willing to go through to find out how reliable it is.

The DL firmware people were using for the NEC 2500 didn't exactly take too well to a lot of drives.
