My 1080pmkv files play on my DELL d610 laptop, freezing, with audio going on in MPC (home cinema), but only when subtitles are displayed (internal or external), can not seem to find a rendering configuration settings that won´t freeze the frames once in a while in the video...

Have you tried playing it on a Desktop PC? The specs of your laptop might not be enough to play a big resolution like 1080p.

I'm no expert in any field, but before i have an old P4 desktop pc and i have trouble playing resolutions of like 720p and 1080p.
