The reason why its not on the Asus site, as that is a board they use in HP comptuers (A7N8X-LA), therefore wont be on their site.

What do you need to know about the board? All ASUS boards regardless (well, all for AMD and all for Intel that is), pretty much follow the same spec and design layout

Yeah, I understand that but I didn't label the return leads. I don't want to make a mistake. That's why I was hoping someone can tell me where I can get a manual or schematic for the motherboard.

So your talking about you dont know where the keyboard/mouse etc are plugged in to, or the LED's inside the case that plug onto the motherboard?

KYBD/MOUSE = with you are looking at the back of the case in a normal position, the keyboard will be the one on the left (or bottom) and the other one will be the mouse. (KYBD = purple, MSE = green)

If you're talking about the case-jumper leads, just use a screwdriver and lightly brush up and down the leads to figure to turn your computer on or off or to reset it (the leads are also labeled).

I gave a generic answer for both possibilities. If you elaborated on your problem i can give a specific answer

If your talking about the Backplate

ie

Top Left is Keyboard (Purple)
Top Right is Mouse (green)
Next down is USB
Then Left Serial (Teal)
then Left D-Sub Video (Blue)
Right Parallel (Pink)
Then your sound and joystick ports
Speaker (Lime)
Line-in (Blue)
Microphone (Pink)

Or are you talking about the Wires that go from the front of the tower chassis to the motherboard.???

Please explain...

I think he is talking about the wires which go from the front chassis to the motherboard. He didnt label them to know where to put them back. Have a look at where they are coming from and look at another asus motherboard cause they have the same layout, you will then know where to put the wires.

Speaker = Red and Black

Where they go are usually written on the board what goes where...

Well all Asus mobo's do...

And usually its the bottom right hand corner of the motherboard where they all plug in.
