I have a modchip built into the gamecube. And recently my brother had spilt koolaid over it. The strange thing is it all works as far as turning on, looking at the cobra menu and ever the regular menu. But no matter what game I try to play original or not, it does not see it. Should I replace a part of the gamecube? Anything else I can do?

sounds like the lens might be dirty, try cleaning the lens gently with a q-tip and rubbing alcohol. this should remove any dirt on the lens. if that doesn't work, sound like you might need to replace the laser assembly( might have gotten damaged ). other than that, I really don't know what to say.
