Help convert 2 AVI's to DVD

Hi there..

i have 2 AVI files of my sons b'day.. and i am wanting to make 1 DVD film from them..
i tried using the guide here on how to copy avi/mpeg to dvd, but when i use VirtualDub to join them like it tells me to in the guide, it is joining 2 700mb avi's and is trying to produce over 70GB film.. WHY?

and is there any other way of doing it, i stripped the audio out of them using TMPGEnc Plus , and then when i tried adding them back together in TMPGEnc DVD Author it would only let me do 1 file, not both of them, thats why i tried joining them first...

Please help :)

Ok thats a good program but how do i go about joining them together?

as it is making each avi, into DVD files (vob,ifo,bup)

and i cant add 2 of the same files onto 1 DVD can i? so i need something to join them before i convert them :)

i need to join them as they follow on from each other.. (whole b'day split into 2 videos) need to make it as 1 whole continuous film :)

It'll create IFO, BUP and VOB files as you convert provided you select DVD as your output. Use the Batch Convert to select more than one file. All needed DVD output files will be in the target directory. Note: If it prompts you for codecs to install, get them first.

I am having the same problem. I have tried WinAVI and when it is converting the second .AVI file it says that vts_01_1 is already created and if I want to overwrite it. What should I do now? Thanx in advance for any feedback.

Trye TMPGEnc Dvd source Creator and after TMPGEnc Dvd Author. It works for me. I use it all the time to make a Dvd movie out of 2 AVI files.
