I can burn every other cd using Dvd Decrypter and DVD shrink. When i try to rip a Special Edition cd, it lets me decrypt it, but when i use DVD Shrink to shrink it it tells me that a file is missing. I have looked for hidden files and everything. I can't get it to work. Has anyone had this problem and if so do you know how to fix it. Do i have to use different software or is it impossible?

What title are you having this problem with?

Have you tried doing the whole process with Shrink?

A special edition DVD is put together the same as every other DVD so it should rip and burn using the same programs.

What file is missing?

I'm not sure why you are opening it in Decrypter first.
Normally you open the disc in Shrink and let it do the burn automatically with Decrypter.
When you select Backup!, select ISO disc image for the target and check the "Launch DVD Decrypter to burn the output image" box.

Well i normally decrypt it before i shrink it. But when i went shrink it, that's when it said there was a missing file. The file was a bullshit file because when i open the cd to see the properties, the file wasn't in there, then looked for hidden files and there were none. It's crazy. Have you ever rented a movie that was special edition and tried to rip and burn. i haven't had any problem until i got to the new special editions. Maybe I need to shrink it with out decrypting, but I don't know if that will work.

You had better take a look at the forum rules:

It is piracy to copy rental movies unless you have purchased them.
