I have ripped the files to my hard drive using Smartripper. Now what needs to be done to them in order to burn them back to a DVD-R to play in my DVD player? please be specific Thank you very much for any help!

You need to have a DVD authoring software, DVD-R drive and Ahead's Nero. Use these:

SpruceUp (demo) for authoring:
