Yo Wassup, I have downloaded a few movies off the net.
Two Questions
-How do I burn them on to a DVD as Nero cant see the files nor can DVD Shrink.
- How to shrink a 4.7+ GB movie if DVD Shrink Cant open the MPEG movie file.

DVD Shrink will not open MPEG Files.
You will have to make DVD Compliant files.
2 programs to use will be TMPEGEnc and TMPEGEnc DVD Author.
Run through TMPEGEnc and encode to DVD PAL (or NTSC) depending on where you live. And once it outputs a MPEG, Open up DVD Author and add the file into it, it will then create DVD Compliant that you can burn to DVD.

He/she said in his first post that they were MPEG files.
Which then i said.

Hey
You dont need DVD Shrink.
You run it through TMPEGEnc as DVD PAL, which will reduce the size, then run it through TMPEGEnc DVD Author, which then will make the VOB,etc files, then you can use Nero to burn them onto the DVD.

@nephilim, hey man, i know we sorted all this out but why was your reply changed from "grow up" to "That's a real nice way for a mod to interact."?
@CoZZa, well its not as easy as just running through TMPGEnc, there are other factors like of course Birate settings. But without the knowledge of the source material i cant say much more!

Hey guys, just out of curiosity ... what kind of downloaded movies from the Internet wouldn't be piracy??? Not too many people are stupid enough to write "I pirated some movies off the Internet last night ..." Am I missing some web sites where there are legal, non-piracy downloads? (Answer nicely please ... :-) )
Karen H.--Dell Optiplex GX240, P4 1.50ghz, 256mb RAM (yeah, I need more), Windows XP Pro w/SP1, 80gb c: drive (replaced the 20gb c: that crashed), 126gb i: drive, 124gb j: drive, 500gb external hard drive partitioned into k: and l: drives, Sony DDU1621/C1 DVD-ROM to rip/encode, Sony DRX-530UL to burn, new Sony DRX-840U to burn DL discs ... need a new computer to go with it!!

Yes there are sites selling downloads legally! I havent tried any out though. Also there are other productions that are online that arent copyrighted, they have like a public license so when someone just mentions movie it doesnt mean it was a copyrighted movie!
