HELLO
I have a dvd burner for a couple of years now and i just started to burn movies from kazaalite.And i use memorex dvd+rw to burn the movie but everytime i go back to play the movie on my dvd player it won't play But will play on my pc.Do i have to change dvd or what?can someone please help me.(nec DVD+rw ND 1100a) is the brand of dvdrw i have

What type of files are these movies? eg AVI, MPEG...

Most DVD Players wont play AVI files.

Here is the basics:

First you will need to encode the AVI to DVD Compliant Files.

2 Programs i would recommend are TMPEGEnc and TMPEGEnc DVD Author.

TMPEGEnc will convert the AVI to MPEG2 (Select DVD PAL or DVD NTSC)

Then TMPEGEnc DVD Author will convert to DVD Complient Files (Vobs etc) so you can use a program eg Nero to Burn onto the DVD as a DVD-VIDEO.

the software i'm using is roxio cd/dvd creator 6 and they so they convert movie automaticely but i have Nero express ahead software but i don't know how to use it. it came with my burner

Sorry i only know the basics of TMPEGEnc and DVD Author.

Do a search first, if you dont find anything, hat you are best to do is post VCD/SVCD section and ask there.

i findly found a AVI mpeg converter called(easy video converter) and converted my movies from AVI to mepg's and when i go to Nero or roxio to burn the movie it want let me .whats wrong now?
