Help! Shakiness using DVDSHRINK and NERO when backup DVD's

Hi. I have a question.regarding backing up my DVD's. I have a LITE ON LDW 401S 4X DVD BURNER and I am using DVD shrink and NERo 6 ULTRA to burn my DVD's. Everything works fine except for the fact that some of the movies (even those that don't need to be shrunk down by DVD SHRINK), aquire this shakiness effect when I play them on my DVD player. It is very slight and maybe unnoticeable to some , but I still notice it. Some times it last for half of the movie and then it kinda disappears, sometimes it not even there...
I'm not sure why. To exaplain, it's kinda of a vertical type shaking of the the movie up and down as it plays maybe 1/8 of a inch in magnitude...
I have used different types of DVD media and the same thing occurs. Right now I am using the RIDATA 4X DVD+R's , which I heard work pretty well with my dvd burner. Anyone have any ideas how I might fix this? Could it have anything to do with using DVD+R 's instead of DVD-R's?
Btw. the shakiness does occurs with both movies that have to be shrunk and with those that don't...

+R or -R will make no difference. My first though was media, but Ritek RIDATA's are suppose be good media. I would say check your ide settings ... make sure they are set to DMA. And, try updating your aspi layer(v1.8): http://wombleintheuk.tripod.com/Final/ForceASPI/ForceASPI.htm

Also, are you using the most current version of Nero? v6.3.1.17? And is your burner the master drive?

Does this occur on all DVD players? If so it is likely to be your burner that's at fault. If it is fairly new I'd utilise your warranty and take it back. NEC burners are not the most reliable.

You mentioned "second half of the movie". If this happens towards the end of movies, it might be a case of burning too close to the edge of the disc. This can be fixed by going into the Shrink Edit > Preferences > and setting the size to custom, and them something around 4400 mb (the setting I leave it on). Yes, this will cause the movie to be compressed just a little bit more, but when I used to get my movies to shake or skip towards the last 10-20 minutes, this trick fixed it.

First I would maybe try some other media. Also, what speed are you burning these movies at?

Actually the movies have no shakiness on my friends dvd player. Mine is in pretty bad shape. I guess , Issue solved. I will get a new dvd player and let you all know.
