big deal if you noticed he wasn't online and he was on 1.00 firmware which all wii u's now produced will be on 2.00 firmware which blocks this not impressed also you have another issue which is if he was online with the wii u the wii u is programed to look for illegal saves or questionable saves and if one is found guess what it turns off your wireless

it was done on its 1st day of release, nintendo make the best exploitable consoles ever, when they uodate it will soon be cracked, a granny could hack a wii on 4.3 with modmii and we all know it

Here is the issue in that thinking the wii u is on a new network the original wii had no way of detecting exploits the wii u does and because the wii u is using console emulation technology you are in fact still running the wii os on the wii u so the wii u os can detect a unauthorized hack and turn off access to the internet of which it does because i have killed a wii u trying to hack it myself thank you.
The wii connected to the nintendo wifi network the wii u onnects to a new network called the nintendo network made possible by fox cons new tech they placed in the console.
Here is why you need to understand when looking at these videos
you can tell a fake by these items.
1. the wii u when powered off has a red and white light on the console if they are not both on the console isn't connected to the internet especially the white light because it is your wifi connection light.
2. the wii u disk's are not blu-ray but a blu-ray type with a hidden structure which makes it harder to copy disks
3. there will be a hack soon for the wii u i am sure but only on the wii front but i have noticed the wii u cd drive doesn't read blu-ray movies also it doesn't read copied disks at all because the drive is programed to look for a certain header on the disk which cannot be reproduced

are you serious? This was on release day. You obviously haven't been in the scene long. The only thing that hasn't been cracked up to date is the Nintendo DS 3d and the only reason it hasn't is because it doesn't have the team to back it up. Team Twizlers will be on top of this. They tried and tried on the wii. It will be cracked. game saves? We're not talking about cheating and creating saves. We're talking about playing backups!!
LOL on the last part. Do you really think it would read backups out of the box? Also, it isn't a damn Blu-ray player! Do your homework man.

No it is not a blu-ray player because i can place the disk in my blu-ray drive on my computer and it tell's me its blu-ray unknown format which means hi-bread
