Cant read any DVD!

Hi,

For some unknown reason I cannot read from any drive.
Both my Pioneer 107 DVD RW and Acer CDRW, can both write to but not read to!

Does anyone have any idea, what on earth is going on?
I have extensively searched this forum and many others to no avail.

Any help, very much appreciated.

Sometimes if you remove the drives in the device manager, then reboot and let Windows re-install the drives for you, most problems clear up. Its easy to try this first.
