There all good burners, get one from your nearest computer store, or off the internet. Google for cheap dvd burner or something like that. As long as its a dual format (or dual layer if you want to spend bit more) burner you cant go wrong. Ppl swear by using certain brands but they basically all do the same thing, all have the same functions and are separated by price. Pay what you feel is worth it, my original burner was $600, now they cost $150 australian

yes, dru 700a is a good drive, if you dont already have a dvd burner by all means get it. Most ppl with a burner all ready are holding out for the price to drop a bit. Bear in mind that dl discs are $15 each and hard to come by. What you will be getting is a good quality 8x burner with the chance to burn dual layer one day when available

buy quality blanks, they dont have to be expensive, just good quality (verbatim branded, metal azo, branded ritek)

also invest in some dvd-rw discs, for praticing on

as far as + or - goes, get whats cheaper (usually -r) and get what is compatible with your dvd player (usually -r)

Your not going to be spoon fed, its your money. In autralia the cheapest iv found is $200AU. i dont know where you live or how much money you have to spend
