For dvd movies use DVD Shrink (its free) and you need Nero to burn the movies. DVD Shrink will auto burn as long as you have Nero.
For PS2 games use DVD Decrypter (also free) Task bar go to MODE-ISO-READ. Then to burn it go to MODE-ISO-WRITE.

I've found BlindWrite5 to be superb for both SafeDisc and SecuRom protected PC games.
Alcohol 120% is great too especially when working with images :)

I'm sure you meant a free trial download, right? http://www.ahead.de/us/nero6-ultraedition.php
This Nero Ultra 6 expires from month to month. You can renew it by downloading it again. You can order online from www.eagletronics.com for $49 USD.

You are actually in the wrong forum, but here's a little help. (You should have posted in the DVD-R for Newbies.)
Many games and movies have some type of copy protection. This has to be removed to make a backup. This is called ripping or decrypting. DVD Decrypter rips the file for the next step. This next step depends on the size of the source files on the DVD. If it is smaller than 4460 MB, it is called a DVD-5, and can be copied/burned directly to a DVD-5 blank with Nero.
If the file is larger than 4460, it is usually called a DVD-9. In this case, it must be reduced to fit on a DVD-5 blank. A free program called DVD Shrink can do this for you. It can also rip different types of copy protection so that you might not need to use DVD Decrypter as your first step. Once files are finished in Shrink, they can be burned with Nero.

hi all
yes to the wrong furom topic! and also i think some seriuos reading up on all the great guides here are needed! then you may help yourself with answers, instead of waiting days for an answer you could get in 10 mins...
plus as a start pick something singular! not try 2/3 things at once, try dvd backing up first say? then when you have it down to a fine art, try games as these are very much more choosey and particular on hardware and sofware!!!!!
Thx...
