I've run into problems with DVD-RB before and it's never deleted anything because of them. Did it give you an error or just stop? Did it delete everything or are the contents of the D2VAVS folder still there? I'm guessing it was during rebuild since you said it had been a few hours, but if the rebuilder.inf file is still in the D2VAVS folder (that should be in the folder you designated as your Working Path) you can verify how far it got by opening that file with Notepad and looking for this line:

progress=2

That would mean that encoding finished. If it has a 1 instead of a 2 then it didn't get all the way through the encode. If it did get through the encode there should be a bunch of M2V files. Those are the actual video files that CCE made. If you take DVD-RB out of 1 Click Mode (go to the Mode menu and uncheck One Click Mode) and click the Rebuild button. Assuming it errors out again you can at least get the exact error message.

If the D2VAVS folder is completely gone (or empty) and you want to give it another try, I'd suggest not using 1 Click Mode so you can stop at the end of any of the 3 phases.

I`m sorry-my mistake. I run rebuilder again to do the same job so I supose he deleted them then.
But now I have more questions. Sometimes cce says he has a problem and need to close. Then I press close button, cce closses, and restart but then i looked at the cce folder and i see miksing one of the cce video files-I have xx...1, xx..2, xx..4, and 3 is missing. Is this a problem?
And I thinked of something else.-can i rip the dvd with DVD Shrink insted of decripter so I can move all the extrats i don`t wont.

There will be a problem if CCE doesn't finish, but it can be fixed. I can walk you through it next time it happens.

Yes you can use Shrink to rip. In fact I've almost replaced Decrypter with Shrink for ripping with and it's never given me any problems.

Ok, I tried again. While cce encoded got an error message, cce restarted in a second and automaticly moved to segment 39. So i think it did not finish segment 38. But it encoded to the end. When rebuilder rebuilded got an runtime error 004 or something like that on that same segment. What should I do?

Okay, you need to start by figuring out which segment it is the one CCE had problems with. The segments all have names like V03000900001010. Go to the D2VAVS directory and look for a file with that name ending with an extension of .AVS. Open that file in whatever media player you use and make sure that it looks alright.

Assuming it looks fine you can try encoding it separately. To do that you need to open the REBUILDER.ECL file in the same directory with Notepad and then open a separate instance of Notepad to paste the lines into. Start by copying and pasting the first line from REBUILDER.ECL. This is important as CCE won't be able to recognize what version of CCE it's for otherwise. Then find a line that says title= followed by the name of the segment that didn't encode. There should be a line above that that says [item]. Copy everything from the [item] line to the line that says encode_last=xxxx (xxxx is the number of frames in the segment) and paste it into the new text file. The new file should end up looking basically like this:

; Cinema Craft Encoder Basic -- Encoder Control List
[item]
title=V03000900001010
aud_out=0
vaf_file=Y:\DVD-REBUILDER\ADVENTURESSHERLOCKHOLMES1-3\D2VAVS\V03000900001010.vaf

frame_last=6942

encode_last=6942

Save that file with an extension of .ECL and then start CCE. Go to the File menu and select Open and then Project. Browse to the ECL file you just created and select it. Then click the Encode button. CCE will encode and you can run the Rebuild phase afterwards.

Just for the record, the error you're getting means that when Rebuilder was putting the movie back together, at some point it ran out of video to mux with the audio and subtitles. That makes sense in the context of the first problem you mentioned with CCE not finishing one segment.

When you encoded that segment manually with CCE did it finish or did it error out again? There's a very long thread at Doom9 about this, and the general consensus is that even when all video segments are encoded, if you get this error it's probably a CCE problem. There have been several different solutions that different people have used to fix it, but no single solution seems to work for everyone. What version of CCE are you using?

I use cce 2.67.0027 trial, and while repeating encoding with your instructions did not get an error, but when cce encodes it encodes 3 files-isn`t it and when I encoded that trouble segment cce encoded 2 files-m2v and xx.
Should I get some other cce-what?

The only thing I can think of right now is to get an older version of CCE. The software section has CCE SP 2.50, which at least one person has used to solve the problem.

I tried another movie and cce 2.67 finished it without any problems and I still get an error message from rebuilder while rebuilding so I supose it`s rebuilders compatibiliti problem with cce 2.67.
Then I tried CCE SP 2.50 and works just fine.
Thank you again.
