Hello All Ive been reading alot about DVD Media seems mostly everyone recommends Ritek G04 DVD-R Media. Any1 know a reasonable site to purchase these DVD's.
Also Ive been using Teon DVD-R 8x (4.7GB) purchased at Staples 20 for $5.00 and so far so good. Also my cousin used the same and Ive been making movies for freinds so they have been tested on many different players and even PS2 consoles (Movies -have not recieved Swap MAgic to try my games yet). I understand the longevity of these DVD's may not be great but the price is.
Is there any way to tell the dye of the Media ( any programs to detect or any #'s to look for)

2 Good sites for media, Mertline.com And Newegg.com.

There's no way to check dye on crappy media. It's always listed as "unknown". Decent media pple love to "Brag" about the dye they use i.e. Ritek, G04's.

DVD Identifier is a good proggy

There are 100's of posts recommending the best media for our type of work -

ok thanks for your help I am going to order some Ritek G04 DVD-R's but I already purchased some of those Teon DVD's I coldnt pass up the price and Ill use them for less important stuff.
