Microsoft has announced that its Windows 10 IoT (Internet of Things) Core operating system is now available for Raspberry Pi. A friend of mine loves this.

You can UI with another pooter that's running Win10.

This does look at least a little interesting. I'm curious how "heavy" the OS is on the hardware; if comparable to other small OSes, this could be quite successful.
