Hi all

I have just backed up a normal DVD using the ISO mode.

I have a very large file that Decryptor says is too big to be backed up on DVD.

How do i reduce the size of the iso file or am i stock with a file that cannot be backed up ?

Please help

Don't know what version of DVD Decrypter you used but in older versions I know for a fact that when in "File Mode" only the main movie files were selected ignoring the VIDEO_TS VIDEO_TS.BUP VIDEO_TS.IFO which are necessary for several purposes including navigation. Manual selection of remaining files was required in such cases.

If you burned with at least Nero 5 it should've given you an error stating that you were missing some files and that the final disc could be defective.

Cheers,
Adonis

But he said he "backed up" (I assume he meant ripped) in ISO mode, not file mode. Hm1, did you run the ISO through Shrink using "open disc image"?
