Are you asking if there are dual layre rewriters.. i dont think dual layre rewriteable media even exists.. and if it does they have to cost at least 20 bucks each as r's are still 15 dollars.

Hi y2amir, As 2005 stated the only dual layer blank media available is +R right now. They are used one time. As to other burner drives there are at least 5 I know of. Pioneer, Plextor, Sony, Nec, and Phillips. Out of those 5 my choices would be the Plextor or Pioneer just from past experience. The dual layer drives are too new to actually know how well they will hold up.

The LG 4120B seems to be very good, as per reviews. It burns all formatts. At $99. seems like a good price. It will work on my HP 350n, but I want the HP 530i or 630i DL burner, only because I like the Record Now software that comes with the driver.

I have the same drive and i love it alot. It does DPM and it can backup nearly all cd game protections except the newest versions of safedisk which is its only setback. It is only a 8x writer but thats plenty fast enough for me.

My 108 works a treat, it reads a lot quicker than my DRU510a. I would recommend it to anybody.

I had an enforced career change a few years back, I had helicopter flying lessons to alleviate my boredom. That was fun.
