-I'd say that AVG free edition owns both of them, and I've been through all of them...

Theres no such thing as the 'best' antivirus software lol

each one misses one thing that gets picked up by another.
Best thing to do stick with norton (by the way did you get it sorted ? you posted a help Q on norton but never heard back from you) and run an online virus test every once in a while

heres the one i use regulary

I don't use private trackers apart from midnight-torrents & demonoid, which are pretty good. The public sites have all the latest stuff up, I only use private sites for occasional rare files.

By the way, just installed Bitcomet yesterday because my Azureus wasn't working. Must say I am very pleasantly suprised. The speeds are no different, has a better interface, easier on the cpu etc.

I must say, I like. =) I suppose when i used it first about 6 months ago, I had no clue about BT. now though, after a few minor tweaks, seems a much better proggy :)

By the way, has anyone ever dloaded a .rar and found it is password protected? *sigh* ... (phuckin - L) :(

@Lethal_B
You will obviously get higher speeds with private trackers.I have both supertorrents and wild-bytes if you want it for midnight-torrents.

try googleing it see what it comes up with , can i just ask file it was ?? ive got a few passwords for rar files that certain groups use pm me or post :)

Lethal_B:

Usually the page you downloaded the torrent from has a listing of possible passwords. I am like you in that i love BT and using public trackers over private trackers. I only use private trackers for rare and the hard to find stuff.

I think its a shame that BT is being blacklisted by most private trackers cuz i think its the best client out there and i have used alot of them. I do understand why its being done but i think its a tactic thats bound to backfire in the end.

celticfc1, egomaniac

I checked the site (I got it from Isohunt, not directly from the site). And it is all in spanish.

Also, I did get a trial of one of the password cracker things, but it was going at about 1 combo per second, and with 1,200,000 combos to try, I just quit in the end :P

Thanks for the suggestions though :)
