If you can't get Azureus to work, scrap it. Try bitcomet or utorrent. I use bitcomet and its great for me. Some say utorrent is the best because its so small and easy on ur cpu usage. I suggest bitcomet. I d/l at 300kbs+ and u/l at 75kbs+.

No sig for u!.

use port 49152 and remember to allow it in your firewall , dont ditch azureus its one of the better ones and bitcomet is hated by a lot of the private trackers

remember aswell 500mb plus files take up to 30mins to achieve maximun speed

well u can use azureus if u dont want to do anything else w/ ur pc, cause it sucks ur usage!, so.........I say, scrap it!. But try diff. clients u might find the one that works well for u. Bitcomet is the best when u know how to use it.

No sig for u!.

Thanks for your advice guys I'll try bitcomet.One thing though,my first bittorrent client was utorrent and because I couldn't remove it I just deleted the shortcut.Whenever I want to use utorrent I have to keep downloading it so I just scrapped it and got Azureus.Could someone tell em how to get the utorrent shortcut back?

@MNA

to get your shortcut back for utorrent , go to start>program list find utorrent on right click send to desktop

note: if utorrent is a program that was based on your destop (not installed on proggy list ) , you have deleted it completely from your pc and need to download it again , if bit comet is slower than Azureus then go back to Azureus :) all bt clients need fine tuning and we at AD will help as much as we can :)

I can't find uTorrent.I clicked on start then do I click on all programs.If it is that I have done that and I can't find uTorrent.Plus I have already had my Azureus tuned.I tuned it when I first got it,it tells you how to tune it on the Azureus forum.

Could you please help me.If you have a torrent invite could you please give me one,I would be so grateful.

i,ve tried Azureus,bitcomet and bit tornado and the one conclusion i came to is they are a waste of space, i tried configuring for a full fortnight ie disabled firewalls and changed ports and the speeds are a joke stick with limewire.

@kevcelt and @MNA

what torrent sites are you using ? remember you need a good number of seeders to get a file quickly , everyone wants but nobody gets blah blah blah , :(

ive got invites to private trackers (demonoid and supertorrents.net and org though org is down at the moment )

so pm me both of you and i'll sort you both an invite :)
