I tried NoLimit04's code in proposed way (with or without sim -original/new), but I gave inscription like below:
PHONE RESTRICTION ON
And I can do nothing - I must turn off my mobile and I have one chance again.
Have you any ideas?

Hi there...
I have put in a different sim in my 6230. and i am getting up no network connection, also Sim Failure. can you help???
Is it still possible now to unlock, i can enter the phone, camera works etc.

sounds like your sim is no good, get a replacement. If you get to your camara etc your fone sounds like it is already unlocked.
