psxnut, thank u fro your timely response, however Iafter inputing the unlock code 7 now I get a screen that says phone restricted and I cant do anything else, perhaps you could advise me in what will be the next step or point me in the right direction, thanks for your help...

if you entered code 7 correctly and the fone is still restricted try code 1
