Ive tried changing the settings so the max speed it can burn is 1x but the lowest option is 4x at the write dialog. dunno what goin on anyone had the same prob?

This is a common problem. Your lucky that you get 4x, my lowest is 8x on Alcohol 120. There are other programs that let you burn at 1x, like clone cd. What is it that you are trying to burn?

BlindWrite5 allows burn speeds down to .5X :)

Ive been trying to burn a few different cd based ps2 games like batman and crash nitro kart but im havibng problems i burnt cnk with alcohol onto a datawrite 9o min cdr at 4x and after the sm3.3 screen it looked like it was loading them the playstation drive went crazy fast and didnt stop till reset. Burnt the same gamme onto a verbatim datalife 700mb with clone cd at 1x and i get a invalid ps2 disk messege. any one tried the same disks/had same probs???

crash nitro cart is a dvd game. If your downloading games and they are over 630megs, you have to use breaker pro to boot them.

ah sweet, that was dum, jst asumed bins and cues were cds and iso's were dvds for sum reason. whats all this about breaker pro surely itll work with swap magic. and in the future how can u tell if its a dvd game? is it just if its over 630mb?

No, your pretty much right there. Most games you download off the net are dvdrips though. Stuff is ripped out so they fit on cd's. But, the swap magic cd can only load games up to 630 megs, and you can't just burn these games to dvd's.

was gunna say cos im getting a format error:
image format; mode2/form1/2352
dvd format: mode1/2048
when i try and burn the bins to dvd, so they're dvds that have been compressed to cd, fair enuf dont see the point but.
how come swap magic only does upto 630 thats shit, so does breaker pro work the same with the flip top and averything? might try to get hold of a copy

just making them into an iso wont work. swap magic only loads upto 630megs because thats how big the disc is. Breaker pro lets you load ps1 backups and ps2 dvdrip games over 630megs.

you can't use a burnt copy of breaker pro for the same reason you can't use a burnt copy of swap magic.
