Ipod Promblem PLEASE HELP!!!

HELP! I've just reformatted my computer, which deletes everything. So my iTunes program was deleted too, but the thing is i still have have my songson my ipod. I reinstalled the Ipod Updater program and, itunes. But then a message popped up sayin my Ipod wasnt reinstalled correctly that I should try again. Well I did just that and the message still shows up! I can't add or delete songs to my Ipod no more because of that message. How do I get my Ipod to connect wih my Itunes?

PS. I tried the Ipod tutorial at apple.com, I've tried to restore my Ipod, but the Ipod service failed. So I'm stuck! Please help!! :( Post back or contact me asap. email address removed by mod
