Looking for a bit of help if possible folks.

I've a 1.50 PSP and a 512meg memory stick.

I had it set up nice with various emulators, like MAME and NEOCD emulator running Metal Slug etc.

Was using UMD Emulator and DEVHOOK to run isos from my memory stick etc.

I copied everything from the root of my PSP into a folder on the hard disk of my PC, so that I could free up some space for using fastloader 0.7

When I was finished I just wanted to drag all the folders and files I copied back onto the root of my PSP.

Now nothing plays and I get the error "The game could not be started (80020130)"

I don't want to mess about too much but I reckon there must be something simple I can fix since the file structure is identical.

Any help appreciated.

Yeah - everything was back exactly as it was before I copy&pasted to my PC HD.

Eventually got it fixed. I had to use SEI tool to treat all my eboot.pbp files again and basically re-install all my emulators.

I still don't understand why I can't copy the whole memory card to my PC - and do whatever I want with the memory card in the interim - so long as I copy everything back onto my memory card before trying to play an emulator again.

It just doesn't like it.

@evnflo
I have a question regarding the guide that you have for fastloader .08
You say that
"now place ANY umd in the slot of your psp and back out of USB mode and go to your Memory Stick icon(the one below the UMD icon) and press X.............now once it has gone back to your main menu(the PSP background screen)...place ANY umd in the slot of your psp wait for the umd icon to appear...now press up on the directional pad and it should bring you to the umd icon........"

Does that mean after I copy umdemulator to my memory stick and put ANY UMD in the drive, then press X, launch the emulator, remove the UMD and then put it back in th drive ?

Please explain why you ask to place any UMD in the driv twice.

lol...thanks for catching that mess up...should have read like this:
"now place ANY umd in the slot of your psp and back out of USB mode and go to your Memory Stick icon(the one below the UMD icon) and press X.............now once it has gone back to your main menu(the PSP background screen)...wait for the umd icon to appear...now press up on the directional pad and it should bring you to the umd icon........"
just leave the umd in the drive when starting umdemulator and while playing your iso...sorry about the mess up there ;)

Hey evenflow.

I was copying everything from my memory card at once. I use a half gig card and wanted to clear it altogether so I could backup my NFS UMD to hard disk.

I was using fastloader to split my UMD into 3x 400meg .rar files ----
then supposedly dumping each of these 40meg pieces onto my PC then unrar them.

Unfortunately the PSP became possessed, and showed my half gig card as having capacity over 1.2gig, and my PC laughed when I tried to unrar the files.

I will be doing minimum messing around now. Might wait til I have a gig memory.

you probably need to unzip it to extract the rom from the zip file...what you get when you extract it?
