This tool is used to create launchers from existing "Eboot.pbp" files from some loaders, (i.e. some loaders may only contain one "Eboot.pbp" file, when in actuality you will need two, "name of loader" and "name of loader%")
To run this program, first download this tool google it...once downloaded you should have a ".rar" file, right click on this file and extract to either your Desktop or a folder of your choice, you should have a PSP looking icon...double click on this icon and it will bring up a window, in the first box it will say "Name", you can put in any name that you like, the second box is named "PBP file"...click on the box next to it that has the 3 dots...then select "from file"...select the "Eboot.pbp" file from the emulator that you wish to load (i.e. SNES9X003A.zip only has one "Eboot.pbp file, you will need two, one for SNES and another for SNES%)..once selected go to the box below "PBP File" and it will say "PSP Unit", select the drive that your PSP is connected to(if you are just now connecting your PSP you may want to click on the "refresh" button to right of "PSP Unit" box)....then click on "Generate"...then select the firmware you have (1.5=U.S. & 1.0=JAPAN)...this will generate a launcher to your PSP...
P.S. KXploit it almost identical except that you should delete "Selecting the firmware" part from this guide...i personally prefer Sei PSP Tool, i have found that it has fewer errors(Evnflow)

here's a guide for pspersonalize...I used Sei PSP Tool for this guide, you want to install it on your comp..it's virus free but still you may want to scan it once you download(can't hurt to be on the safe side), download pspersonalize, once extracted you should have "MS1", "MS2", and a readme.text file(this was used for the memory swap, but it can be used off of one memory card)...open up "sei psp tool", go to the NAME box and put in "PSPERSONALIZE"...then go to the box below it should say "PBP FILE"..click on the box to the right(with the 3 dots), click on "from file" find the file where your extracted pspersonalize too(ooh yeah if you need the password, it is "1up")click on "MS1", it will go to folder "psp", double click on it, it will go to another folder "game", double click on it, it will go to ANOTHER FOLDER "pspersonalize", double clik on it(dayum that's alot of work,lol), there should be an "EBOOT.PBP" file in it...double click for the last time and it should put it into the box on the sei psp tool...then go to the box below that "PSP UNIT" select what drive you psp is put too...then click on generate...then export to 1.5(u.s) or 1.0(japan)...it should put it too your psp...go to the "game" folder in your psp, it should be in the same folder as the music, photo, and save data folders...it's called game...if not just make one(too make on don't highlight any folders and the option should appear in the left listings), once you double click on the game folder you should have a two files listed "PSPERSONALIZE" AND "PSPERSONALIZE%"...there your done with that part....now for your pics...take the pics(the ones you named, for example 07) and put them on the same screen as "PSP" and "MS_ROOT" they should not be put into any folders just on the very first screen you get when plugging your psp into your comp...make sure that these pics are within the guidelines
(a 24-bit Bitmap (BMP)
<= 150KB in size
<= 300x170 resolution (it can be smaller in resolution doesn't have to be dead on, just makes it look better and fit if dead on)
then once you have your pics on your psp and pspersonalize put to your "game" folder...your done with that part...now back out of usb mode and go to the far left of the menu screen of your psp and go to "Memory Stick", hit x andyou should have an icon for pspesonalize pop up, along with corrupt data(this is good you want this corrupt data), click x on the psp icon, and you should get the psp(bright) screen and it will fade to a black screen asking you to flash the pic you put to the psp (example 07.bmp)(you didn't put the .bmp it will do it on its own)...hit ok (i believe it is o) and the screen will go black and then it will say finished...if it doesn't go to the main menu screen, just hit the "home" button and select you want to quit...the background should have the pic for that month...remember you only name the picture a number 07, 10, 12 etc....good luck and write back to let me know how it worked..or if you have any questions..ooh yeah you may want to print this out to have to look at while you are doing this ;)
Here are the numbers for each month:
01=January
02=February
03=March
04=April
05=May
06=June
07=July
08=August
09=September
10=October
11=November
12=December
P.S. you may also want to have a backup of the original backgrounds....also would like to mention that if you just want to change the colors of the background, but keeping the oringinal background...just change the Date and Time Settings...cheap fix, but you shouldn't have ANY problems with this fix

This may be a dumb question, but I was wondering if it is ok to delete the pic thats on the psp after flashing. I figured that it'd be ok, but I don't want to risk screwing up my psp.

it should be fine...however the picture is still going to be set for that month even though it has been deleted from you memory stick...when you flashed that picture onto your psp...you actually put it on the psp, not the memory stick...you can get the stock pics back though if you ever want to go back....good luck, holla ;)

umm im havin some problems. ive done everything every walkthrough tells me to do, i dld kxploit and sei psp tool,and when i use kxploit and try to generate the unzipped snes 9xtyl snes% eboot.pbp file it says "on the folder g:\psp\game\ you found two folders, one is called snes and the other is snes%. if you must copy some file more than it needs the program, you must put it in folder g:\psp\game\snes." and when i try to generate the snes eboot.pbp, it says "an error has taken place turning the file, verifies that file pbp is correct." when i use seipsp tool trying to generate either eboot.pbp file it says "invalid pbp file to write." please help me figure out what im doing wrong or lacking.

@ evnflow
i have followed everything you have said in your fierst post but... for some reason when i click Generate it says i have and invalid PBP file in the PBP file space? Any reason why?
i have a folder for an Snes emu, there are two folders one with:
v1.0_unpatched and another that says v1.5_kxploit_ready
in the 1.5 are 2 other folders, the one with the % and the one without, in each is an EBOOT.PBP file, those arew what i selected, none of them work.
Do you know whats wrong? if you could help me out, that would be great dude.

sicmoses...how many eboots are there initially, one or two? also what firmware are you using? if you are using firmware 1.0 on your psp..you only need to have that one eboot.pbp file(in a folder) in the PSP\GAME directory...if you are using firmware 1.50 on your psp...you will need to use seipsptool and make two eboot.pbp files from the original one eboot.pbp file that was packaged with the emulator....however if it was packaged with two folders(i.e. snes and snes%) then you don't have to use seipsptool it's already in 1.50 state...however if you are using the 2.0 firmware for your psp...you will need to download fanjita's eboot loader for the 2.0 firmware....
there isn't any emulator eboot file that will play every game, sorry you have to get the corresponding emulator for each rom...
