yes since i changed it it recognises and starts to write it wasnt doing that before......i checked the discs out(these that im using) with Nero red all down it says bad disc..so i will try poss VERBATIM because i cant really try anything else till i do so.....when i try the TEST using Nero i have error message LOGICAL BLOCK ADDRESS OUT OF RANGE(052100) i have looked this up and done everything it says to correct it atapi and stuff but it still says it ..any ideas ..THANKS
