this is just as easy.how do you know that the game dosent feed off cdrom.therefore when you uninstall theres only a couple of kb that come out.i know the game is probably 3gb but that might be on disc,it doesnt install all that on hard drive sometimes

the game is in add remove programs it says 998 mb right next to it. But when i try to uninstall it says need the disc. I dont have the disc I gave it away like 6 months ago.

The disc is out of the picture. I went into the regedit thing and deleted all the files but it is still there in the add remove programs list.

Basically im trying to get it out of the add remove programs list.

download system mechanic trial for 30 days this will clean everything out.make sure you go into options and add zero file,temp,etc,everything but files not accessed for 30 days[dont check that]keep going,clean registry,fix broken shortcuts,you will see a part that will take that out of add and remove programs....kool...let me know...peace

Has no one thought of going into Program files and deleting the SimCity folder?
It won't get rid of the registry key but who cares?
Just delete the folder, delete the shortcuts on the desktop and in the start menu and you get your disk space back!

i tried that first and it wasnt working. but that program stystem mechanic freed up like 5 gigs of space for me so im happy. Took out sim city too im happy about that.

I cant believe I had 5 gigs of clutter and crap on my pc. Im so excitied I got some space for that hynatise minds discography.
