'fraid all i got is this -
Quote: Bus Type : default (0) -> ATAPI, detected: ?
- as your burner is internal to the PC, that question mark is saying your ATAPI drivers still aren't loaded correctly, try to fix via this - http://home.comcast.net/~bbmayo/FAQ.htm

not at all, you just need to beat the DMA thing into submission. tell you what, try this way (just be very careful with regedit) -
Quote: Run REGEDIT. Go to the following key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E96A-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}
It has subkeys like 0000, 0001, 0002, etc. Normally 0001 is the primary IDE channel, 0002 the secondary, but other numbers can occur under certain circumstances. You have to go through these subkeys and check the DriverDesc value until you find the proper IDE channel.
Delete MasterIdDataChecksum or SlaveIdDataChecksum, depending on whether the device in question is attached as master or slave, but it can't actually hurt to delete both. Reboot. The drive DMA capabilities will be redetected.
Open Device Manager again and check whether the device is now actually using DMA mode. If so, congratulations, you've made it (at least until the next time Windows disables DMA).

That one is a virtual drive so I cant disconnect it. I have tried to get rid of it with no success. I went in and uninstalled the device and the drivers and it just wont go away. How can I get rid of it?

Ok killalot was on the right road. I had the virtual drive installed from gamesxcopy and when I uninstalled, it was left over from that.
Now with that on there the atapi was unable to reconize what kind of transfer rate being as it was fake. It affected all of the drives since one was not reconized. When I found out how to finally uninstall the virtual drive it was cleared and now the atapi reconizes the proper information.

@creaky
I got rid of those irritating virtual drives by going to:
my computer
properties
device manager
hardware
system devices
and disabled 'plug and play bios extension'

Yea I tried to reinstall or I mean fix Nero to see if it would reset. It didnt. I burn cds sometimes, but most of the time I am burning Movies on to blank dvds. A process that is much more demanding on quality of transfer. That is why I am being anal retentave about it. I just dont get why it is detected correctly in the info tool but not on the log file. Seems strange to me. But like you said if it is burning fine I will just leave it. If I have any problems in the future I will post a thread. Untill then thank you for your help everyone. Happy Thanksgiving.
