I ended up reinstalling Nero and then ripped the IFO files from the DVD using CloneDVD2 and burned the DVD using Nero and it worked! So I tried to burn again with CloneDVD2 and I got a disk error - bad media again...so know I know it has something to do with CloneDVD2 not being able to burn and not something wrong with the drive as it can burn with Nero. Any suggestions for CloneDVD2?

Try uninstalling/reinstalling CloneDVD, do you have the latest version? The lastest is 2.8.5.1.

At least you seem to be headed in the right direction....

I tried that a week ago but maybe the original download was corrupted or the install was corrupted. I'll try again and let you know, thanks.

I uninstalled CloneDVD2 and deleted the install software. I then downloaded a fresh version and installed. Still get the same problem...disk error..bad media!! I will email Clone support and see if they can solve this one.
