You mean video clips from UMD ISOs or from something like VCD or DVD?

First of all, what you need to do is convert those videos to MP4 format (if they aren't in MP4 format).

After doing so, move them to PSP:\MP_ROOT\100MNV01\

... and rename the video clip to M4Vxxxx.MP4

(xxxx represents numbers that you prefer. )

These file names cannot be modified, except for the last four numbers in the video file.

The 100MNV01 folder must put in MP_ROOT folder. And files(videos) inside the 100MNV01 must be renamed to M4V0001.MP4 and so on...

As for video format, the video must be in MP4 format, and the total resolution must be or less than 76800 pixels(eg 320*240=76800). And audio frequency must be in 24000Hz.

Check the video properties before transfreeing it to the PSP.

You can also reencode them using PSP Video 9 to make sure it really works in your PSP.

Of course you can't rename something off a CD! You need to copy them to your hard disc first before rename it.

PSP never read videos without some special names.
