I installed SMS 1.5r3 to my memory card.
I put in Gex enter the gecko(ps1 game trigger disc).
SMS 1.5r3 loads up.
I Press Start.
Select Exit to browser.
I see the black psx disc.
I swaped Gex Enter The Gecko Trigger disc for "Card Captor Sakura Animetic Story Game(jap ntsc)(psx backup)" using the white slide card.
Selected the black psx disc.
The backup loads up and stops/Freezes after the psx logo fades onto the screen and the sound for the logo finishes.

i havent tryed this but im sore it will work all you need:
a oringal ps1 game,ur back up,a media player that can load elf files from a ps2(and read pen drives with elf files on)(E.g max media player), a flip top or slide tool and a pen drive.
All you have to do is:
put cd loader on a pen drive you can get it from here http://www.geocities.com/jjax1975/CDLOADER.zip
then load your elf file player and put your pen drive in and load cd loader
then press eject (when cd loader comes up) and put the origanal ps1 game in and then swap the oringal(with out pressing eject) one for the back up and press X and if you want to make a slide tool look at this http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/288331 and i'll try it and tell you what happens

There's a way to use the exploit still... You can use it from V9 - V14 Slimline PS2's... I know, because I have a V14, and I use it all the time... The only thing is that Sony got wise to the "exploit", and now with the V14 (or maybey even earlier models) you can't install it to your MC... I'll post the details if any one is interested...
I repeat, you CAN play PS1/PSX backups on a PS2 V9 - V14 Slimline PS2 WITHOUT a BreakerPro disk... You do it with an exploit... Pretty simple too...

Ok... This takes a little effort on your part, and I'll be the first to admit that Breaker Pro would be an easier method... BUT this DOES work on EVERY CONSOLE V9 & UP! I know, because I have a V14 SLIMLINE, and I use it everytime I play my PS1/PSX backups...
WHAT YOU NEED :
Swapmagic 3.3 or 3.6 (I use 3.3 so I know it works with that version)
PS2 Console... I have the Slimline V14, So I know that works as well...
An ORIGINAL PRESSED PS1/PSX GAME (For this, I use Resident Evil Director's Cut) But you can use whatever u have for the most part...
A WORKING backup PSX/PS1 Game
CD BURNER
BLANK CD-R
MagicSwitch (We'll have to make the PS2 think it's been opened so we can do the trick...)
EXPLOIT CD DOWNLOAD IT HERE
YOU'LL NEED WinRAR TO EXTRACT IT, AND AN IMAGE BURNING SOFTWARE TO BURN IT...
Ahhh now that you're done downloading your image... Let's burn it with whatever software you like... I use Alcohol 120% for mine... Burning it at the slowest possible setting... DAO/SAO mode of course... Just treat it like a PS2 CD...
Now lets start the exploit. Use your swap magic 3.3/3.6 to boot up the disc u made.
You should see a screen like this...
Press SELECT to configure...
You'll see a screen like this...
Move the arrow down to O (if it's not already there)
The press the O button... This will bring up another screen...
Scroll down to MISC/
and press the O button...
You'll see a screen like this...
Scroll down to PS2BROWSER
and press the O button...
Now you should be at the original screen, with MISC/PS2BROWSER out to the right of the O...
If you DON'T see MISC/PS2BROWSER by your O button, start over with the "Move the arrow down to O (if it's not already there)" step, and proceed on until you get it...
If you DO see MISC/PS2BROWSER, then press your O button on your key pad to save your configuration... This will be the button on your controller that you will push to activate the swap trick...
Now... It's time to play that PSX/PS1 backup you've so anxiously been wanting to play...
Take out the exploit cd, and put in an ORIGINAL (Store bought) PSX/PS1 disk... Take off your MAGICSWITCH TOOL A (this is the one right above the POWER SWITCH. After about 5 seconds, put it back on...
The disk will now start spinning... It'll spin for a few seconds, then it will stop... Once it stops, swap it with your BACKUP PSX/PS1 disk, then press O on your contoller...
You should now be looking at your PS2 browser, and in an instant, you'll see the PLAYSTATION DISC out to the right of the Memory Card...
Click on it and play your game!
Now, for older SLIMLINE PS2's, and "FATTY PS2" V9 & UP, you can install the exploit on your Memory Card... I KNOW FOR A FACT V14 WILL NOT LET YOU INSTALL THIS TO YOUR MC... If you have V9 - V13 (Maybe?) to install it to your MC, All u do is...
Boot the exploit CD with Swapmagic 3.3/3.6
Hit select to configure
Move the arrow down to O
Press O
Scroll down to cdfs:/
Then INSTALL.ELF...
This way LAUNCH.ELF will be installed to your Memory Card, and whenever you want to launch it, u can boot Swapmagic 3.6 with your Memory Card in slot 1, and you won't need the Exploit CD again...
Now when ever you want to play your backup again, you can just start Swapmagic 3.6, then press UP+L1 to boot LAUNCH.ELF from memory card, swap with your original and take of your magic switch tool A. Put it back on. When the disc stops, swap for your backup and press your O button. From the ps2 browser, choose the psx disc icon and enjoy. As you can see, this is a long process but when you keep doing this for a while, it'll become like second nature...
Hope this helps...

Yea I thought about that too... That's why I just uploaded the pre-made image file... Do u think I should just delete everything about the making of the image, and just start from where u boot the downloaded image?

I'm not really sure... I only own a burnt copy of ARMAX, so I'm not able to boot games with it any way... Give it a try and let us know!
