ya no im noticing theres no mention of ff crystal chronicles lol.. hated that game wasnt ff at all, jus as bad as ff11.. y did they go there? online rpg etc.. its wasted time!!! they could of bin making better ff's in the time they've made ff11!

FF CC is a lil action adventure FF so I dont hate on it its the crapy hyped up newer FFs that burn my buttons nothing like haveing new inovateing game that they pull out fo thier arses and dont fuly test to make a game fun...

uhuh, true true i agree.. when i first bought it i was hyped cus it was ff.. then i played it and it just frustrated me how much it wasn't like any of the other ff's apart from looking like ff11 characters..

1.FF10(great story,graphics,and slightly revamped gameplay)
2.FF9(good story,OK graphics,very interesting characters)
3.FF8(same as FF9,just less so)
4.FF1(old school,great classic adventure)
5.FF2(lame lvling system,but somewhat interesting story)

Ah...another FF thread. Well, here goes my uncontrollably biased rating system...TO THE MAX!
1. or 2.)FF6/FF7 (I'd lean to FF6 merely because of Kefka. They switch ranks depending on mood)
3.) FFIV "You spoony bard!"
4.) FFVIII (Took me some time, but I eventually liked it)
5.) FFIX (I guess? Didn't like Kuja OR Zidane much though.)
6.) FFV Go Boco! Go Boco! Go Boco!
Complete Bottom.)FFX and FFX-2 [I'll see you in Hell FFX(-2)!]
Now for the gaps!
FFXI: Despite the grindy'ness of the game I actually enjoyed it as a MMORPG. However, I still do not consider it an actual part of the FF series, and I don't rank it among the linear'ish story based RPGs.
FF1(NES): Ah yes, I shall never be able to rank it, purely based on insane bias above and beyond my normal bounds. Mainly because it was the first FF I played. (I remember booting up FFVII for the first time and hearing the Prelude was kept after 7 iterations and got all wishy-washy and fuzzy inside)
FF2: Never played it, I do have it as part of Origins, I'll eventually play it.
FF3: I'm still waiting for an official Western release, but one day I might ROM it.
Chronicles, Mystic Quest and The Rest: Blah, I shun thee!
Edit: I found raising the Golden Chocobo in FFVII relatively easy and fun, though I could've lucked out.

I liked FF7 and FF9 but FF8 I thought wasn't as good as FF7 or FF9. FF9 was funny. FF10 was pure crap not worthy of the FF title. FF4 or FF2 in US was good story line but your friends kept dying and somehow kept coming back (one blew himself up in a volcano)

FF9 was hilarious....i can barely remember it i just remmeber i really liked it. i remember Zidane n Dagger\Garnet....n that knight guy OH!! and Vivi!

yes the truth I hated FF10/FFX-2 I think FF9 was my favorite. But the best RPG's are Breath of Fire 1-5

Nah i think FF X made up for Tidus's camp accent with great character development and not the typical cliche rpg story yeh it had the foundations of your run of the mill rpg but had some nice twists.As for FFX2 well...lets not go there.

BOF 1,2 and 4 are good,but 3 and 5 make FF8,FFX and FFX2 look good 0-o,I thought the FFs had issues with them pulling shit but BOF5 is the worest ><

Weapons can run dual to single hand,but not all equipment can be mixed,large arm guards would block the use of soem gloves and all shileds ect,ect,ect balance it out and such..and of corse a normal 6 member party :3

I'm alittle different, i played them all, but i was shocked no one mentioned ff tactics?! not advance but tactics?! My love of Strategy games and rts games probally have an effect on why i love tactics but here is my listing. Bwuahha...
1)FF7 tied with FFT
2)FF6 - cause of Kefka, one of the most craziest badass villians i have ever seen. good story as well.
3)FF8 - in alot of ways i can relate to Squall. the chicken shit Zell was always a riot to have.
4)FF9 - A cross dresser Villian?! awesome! A Monkey as a hero? Even better!
5)FFX - I liked the graphics, but totally did not like Tidus or Blitzball
6)FF5
7) The remaster ff1 and ff2 - FF1 which saved square from goin out of business in the very early 90s
Can't even rate the other junk square has released with a ff name attached.

well im with pepsimaxx the best of all times is ff7 and then ff3 for snes ff7 is the most awesome rpg on the playstation history it was the revolutionary new rpg style game for 3D world, after squaresot made it new people that before dont like rpg's stared to play ff7 and still playing rpg's . so for my and my whole family 1 of the best rpg's was and still ff7

i dont think i could ever get enough of that game!! FF7 was totally AWESOME, its been like 10 years and im still talking about it lol and thanks for agreeing with me hidaki9 :) and i mentioned FF T!! it was awesome!! number 6 on my list... i loved it but its hard to put them into a list... i love all my FFs equally....except for the unwanted ones, *Glances at FFX and FFX-2* lol
