steimy don't even think that i wouldn't be grateful to what u posted. thanx alot ur list was more than enough.
but i seemed to find an excuse for evey game u listed.
black :great game like it but it's just too hard and i can;t afford losing money on it
killzone:don't even mention it. it was the worste game in my game buying history.
grand theft: already played them and didn't amuse me much
star war/kill all human: totally hate them. too kidish for my taste
Toca Race Car Driver 3, Colin Mcrae Rally 2005, Driver 3 & 4:i like racing in the city and not on circuit. and i think i already had enough with need for speed 2/most wanted and burn out.
so you see steimy. thats why i asked for more games.
i am looking for an interesting game. with kool grafics and a good story.

You know, as I said before, if you manage to find an excuse for every game there is, then PS2 is probably just not your thing. There are people who could spend hours playing even the most boring game, and then there are others that can't seem to find one good game, and there's nothing wrong with that.
Also if you are looking for one with a good story, go with RPG games, Final Fantasy series, Kingdom Hearts, Star Ocean, Tales series, ICO, Shadow Hearts etc.

Yeah i would recommend kingdom hearts 1 and 2 those are extremely good games. Even though it is a bit kidish but it is a really fun and great game and the original is only $20 dollars but the second is still around 50$ dollars i recommend playing them both.

Yeah those simulation games are surprisingly addictive. I mean things like fps and racing and RPG you'll play for while and eventually get bored of it, but the simulation games last for a LONG time

They also have horrible graphics they should actually make a game like roller Coaster tycoon with good graphics then it'd be worth your money instead of getting it out of cereal boxes like i do.

Really? I thought the graphics was ok. But then, the graphics of a game isn't the most important thing for me.

Well if its some 2-d piece of crap it kind of takes away from the game because when theres bad graphics there usally coems other problems like frame rate issues and collision detection king of like true crime streets of N.Y. And another thing roller Coaster tycoon does have some frame rate issues if you have so many big rides with tons of people going through it.

what?? a bit kidish? that way kidish!. such games are meant for kids man. that's why games have restrictions. kids can't play over 18 games neither can over 18's play such games. that's breaking the law!!
any other kool games on ur mind..
i tried black and it was kinda kool
godfather was great too

I think you'll find that the KH series is aimed at more than just the kids, a lot of the grown ups like us either love the game or hate it, not so much in between :)
So WHAT kind of game exactly are you into? You seem to have said no to almost all the games suggested here, and I'm going to go back to what I said before, if all these games don't interest you, maybe PS2 just isn't you cup of tea.

Have you even played kingdom hearts. You cant just go by the ratings like E/ T and M. Just because its rated E dosent mean its just for kids it just means that theres not that bad stuff in it like blood, gore, sexual content and so on.

Oh yeah..Wallace and gromit COTWR...a few bugs but what a huge platformer.. Excellent, I just keep going back to it.
BTW Roller Coaster is only 188MB...how much game in that much data?
Try building underground. I have a twin track totally underground railway..underground carts and rides...now that's really cool and rock hard to achieve. Took me hours just to get the rails down and the stations sorted.

It is so true that simulation games are addicting! :) Right now, I'm playing City Life, which is basically like Sim City, except the graphics are way better. You can zoom in all the way to first person view. Unfortunately, I think this game is only available for the PC platform for now.

Always use good quality blank media. Verbatim is always a good call. Don't be seduced by those 50-spindles you find in the $2.99 bin at your local car wash! :)

When I started playing video games , had the same problem , didn´t know what to play, bought afew adventure games, and the best for me was EXHUMED for sega saturn. You can get it for psone
Then with Dreamcast I entered in the RPG universe with Grandia 2 and started buying all the RPGs that I knew.
With PS2 was the same: all RPGs, because they make me use my head and not my fingers like mad.
So,an RPG addicted was born ( I´m 46, but is late to be saved).
I already spent(not waste)enough money to buy a good brand new car. So, try RPGs.

The best PS2 game I've ever played is Gran Turismo 4, but if you are tired of racing games then try out GTA San Andreas (the other best game for PS2).
